Trust His timing

I have read the instructions from His word about trusting God. I am listening to Him, praying for His will to be done. I believe that He is working even though I cannot see it. I know that He is in charge. I know that nothing will happen that escapes His view. I know that He cares for me. I know that He has always and will always deal with me according to His justice and goodness. However, there are still times when I have difficulty trusting His timing.

Few days before I had to go on maternity leave, I kept asking God, why the delay? Why does it have to be this way with me? But I was encouraged and my spirit was lifted when I read the message below sent in by a friend. I know you will understand better when you read my testimony of safe delivery
here.

I have discovered three realities about trusting His timing.

First, trusting His timing is sometimes hard. There are times when I eagerly lay my cares down, but then I decide not to wait for God to work and pick it back up again. There are other times when my concerns must be ripped from my hands. My doubts and fears take over: What if He does not listen? What if He hears the wrong thing? What if He chooses to act in a way that I do not like? Or worse, what if He chooses not to act at all? I have swallowed hard when He responded with "No," and I have laid awake at night wrestling with His answers that appear to be, "Not now."

Second, trusting His timing is sometimes easy. There are times when waiting for God to work His plan is easy. Laying my concerns at the feet of the Lord and leaving them there comes naturally. I have experienced answered prayer soon after making the request. I receive his "Yes" with joy and gratitude. I receive His "No" with patience and trust.

Third, whether easy or difficult: His timing is always right.

Solomon said this, "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end." (Ecclesiastes 3:11, NIV)

You may be in a waiting time. Waiting for the answer. Waiting for direction. Waiting for peace. Waiting for hope. Waiting for healing. Waiting for victory. Doubt and uncertainty set in. Questions. Fears.

Whatever you are waiting for trusting His timing is always right.

He will make everything beautiful in its time.

Shalom!

"Hope For Banged-Up Lives."

Maybe you're one of those "banged-up lives." You've been treated poorly, you've been made to feel that you never measure up, that you're a loser, people have undervalued you, passed you by, and maybe you've ended up pretty hard and angry inside. But there is someone who has never thrown away a banged up life, who sees beyond what's on the outside to the wounds on the inside and the potential He built into you when He made you. Jesus is your hope of a new beginning where the future doesn't have to be just an extension of a broken past. In Isaiah 61:1, our word for today from the Word of God, the Bible says of Jesus, "The Lord ... has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners ... to provide for those who grieve in Zion - to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes - a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair." Jesus has done that for millions of banged up people for two thousand years. He can do it for you because He died on the cross for every sin ever done by you or against you. The Bible says of His death on the cross: "He carried our sorrows...He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities...and by His wounds we are healed" (Isaiah 53:4-5). With someone who loves you so unconditionally, so completely, you don't have to ever again trash yourself, trash other people, or trash your future. You can tear up that name tag that identifies you as "victim" and replace it with the new identity Jesus gives you, "child of the King." If you'll surrender the steering wheel of your life and put the rest of your life in the hands of the man who died for you. Jesus, who's God's one and only Son, sacrificed Himself to become the ultimate banged-up life for you. However much you have been betrayed, you can trust Him. However much you have been hurt and rejected, you can count on His "never leave you" love. And your new beginning can start this very day.

Waiting for the Sunrise!

You know, we can learn an awful lot about the ways of God in our lives by just watching how He starts each new day. That's especially important if it's been dark in your life for a while. It's been a long night; you've been waiting a long time for light to break through. But remember how God operates - a long wait, maybe a few signs of a little brightening, and then a sudden, dramatic breakthrough.
This divine modus operandi is vividly illustrated in our word for today from the Word of God in Exodus 12:11. God's ancient people have been waiting for God to come through with their promised deliverance from their slavery in Egypt. But before it gets better, it gets worse. The request to Pharaoh only leads to them being oppressed more. Then there's a series of ten plagues, nine of which do not change their lives. It's been a long, long night. Like you maybe, they've been waiting for the sunrise for a long time.

Then comes the night of the first Passover, the night God will change Pharaoh's heart with the last plague. Here are the Lord's instructions to His people about the Passover: "This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. Eat in haste." After all this waiting, God says, "Hey, be ready to go at a moment's notice."

Here's what happened: "During the night Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, 'Up! Leave My people, you and the Israelites! Go, worship the Lord as you requested. Take your flocks and herds ... and go.' The Egyptians urged the people to hurry and leave the country." Pharaoh and his people are literally urging their labor force, the Jews, to leave their country! And the Egyptians even give the Jews silver and gold and clothes - they finance the Exodus!

It was a long wait, and then a sudden and blazing sunrise, and a dramatic difference. God may have you right in the middle of that kind of impending miracle at this moment. Except right now it looks like it's going to be dark forever. Don't let the length of the wait make you give up on the sunrise. Don't ever assume there's not enough time left for the answer to come.

Have you ever seen a sunrise?

You're going to see one in your life - when God has everything ready.

And when it comes, it may very well come very fast.

And that sunrise will illuminate and change everything!
The sunrise is worth waiting for.

Be Blessed.

God Is Ever Faithful.

Got this from a friend and I thought it’s a story worth sharing. Please read and learn that regardless of how difficult a situation is God is forever faithful.

In the country of Armenia, in 1988, Samuel and Danielle sent their young son, Armand, off to school. Samuel squatted before his son and looked him in the eye. "Have a good day at school, and remember, no matter what, I'll always be there for you." They hugged and the boy ran off to school.

Hours later, a powerful earthquake rocked the area. In the midst of the pandemonium, Samuel and Danielle tried to discover what happened to their son but they couldn't get any information. The radio announced that there were thousands of casualties. Samuel then grabbed his coat and headed for the schoolyard. When he reached the area, what he saw brought tears to his eyes. Armand's school was a pile of debris. Other parents were standing around crying.

Samuel found the place where Armand's classroom used to be and began pulling a broken beam off the pile of rubble. He then grabbed a rock and put it to the side, and then grabbed another one.

One of the parents looking on asked, "What are you doing?" "Digging for my son," Samuel answered. The man then said, "You're just going to make things worse! The building is unstable," and tried to pull Samuel away from his work.

Samuel just kept working. As time wore on, one by one, the other parents left. Then a worker tried to pull Samuel away from the rubble. Samuel looked at him and said, "Won't you help me?" The worker left and Samuel kept digging.

All through the night and into the next day, Samuel continued digging. Parents placed flowers and pictures of their children on the ruins. But, Samuel just kept working. He picked up a beam and pushed it out of the way when he heard a faint cry. "Help! Help!" Samuel listened but didn't hear anything again. Then he heard a muffled voice, "Papa?"

Samuel began to dig furiously. Finally he could see his son. "Come on out, son!" he said with relief.
"No," Armand said. "Let the other kids come out first because I know you'll get me." Child after child emerged until, finally, little Armand appeared. Samuel took him in his arms and Armand said, "I told the other kids not to worry because you told me that you'd always be there for me!"

Fourteen children were saved that day because one father was faithful.

How much more faithful is our heavenly Father! Whether trapped by fallen debris or ensnared by life's hardships and struggles, we are never cut off from God's faithfulness. He is true to His character. He is reliable and trustworthy and can always be counted on.

Deuteronomy 7:9 "Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; He is the faithful God, keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations..."

1 Corinthians 1:9 - God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.

Psalm 37:28, "For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. They will be protected forever"
While not trust HIM now and see how faithful GOD is.

Psalm 23

You may have never thought nor looked at this Psalm in this way; even though you say it again and again.
The Lord is my Shepherd
That's Relationship!

I shall not want.
That's Supply!

He makes me to lie down in green pastures.
That's Rest!

He led me beside the still waters.
That's Refreshment!

He restores my soul
That's Healing!

He led me in the paths of righteousness,
That's Guidance!

For His namesake.
That's Purpose!

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
That's Testing!

I will fear no evil,
That's Protection!

For Thou art with me.
That's Faithfulness!

Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
That's Discipline!

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
That's Hope!

Thou anointest my head with oil.
That's Consecration!

My cup runneth over.
That's Abundance!

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.
That's Blessing!

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord…
That's Security!

Forever.
That's Eternity!

Knowing Where To Tap.

Do you know that Effort is important, but knowing where to make an effort in your life makes all the difference? Read the following story and be blessed.

It is the story of the giant ship engine that failed? The ship's owners tried one expert after another, but none of them could figure out how to fix the engine. Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was a youngster. He carried a large bag of tools with him, and when he arrived, he immediately went to work. He inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom.

Two of the ship's owners were there, watching this man, hoping he would know what to do. After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer. He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine lurched into life. He carefully put his hammer away. The engine was fixed! A week later, the owners received a bill from the old man for ten thousand dollars.

"What?" the owners exclaimed. "He hardly did anything!"

So they wrote the old man a note saying, "Please send us an itemized bill."

The man sent a bill that read:

Tapping with hammer ..................... $ 2.00

Knowing where to tap .................... $ 9,998.00

GRAND TOTAL ...................................................$10,000.00

I pray GOD to always give us the insight to know WHERE TO TAP whenever we are faced with the dangers and WORRISOME SITUATIONS associated with the DECISIONS of today. May the good Lord always bless our effort? When we know where to tap, (through His grace), may He lead and direct us on how to do the tapping.

The limit to your growth and independence could be you!

Do you know that the world is like a mirror, which gives back to
anyone the reflection of the thoughts in which one has strongly believed? Do you also know that the only person who is capable of setting limits to your growth is YOU, so examine yourself, watch yourself. Don't be afraid of difficulties, impossibilities and losses, be a winner, build yourself and your reality. Read the following story and learn.

One day, an employer called all his employees together and announced to them thus; "Yesterday the person who has been hindering your growth in thiscompany passed away. I invite you to join the funeral in the next room. They were all sad to hear of the death of one of their colleagues, but after a while they started getting curious to know whothe person was who had hindered the growth of his colleagues and the company itself. The excitement in the room was such that security agents were ordered to control the crowd within the room. The more people reached the coffin, the more the excitement heated up. Everyone thought: "Who is this guy who was hindering my progress? Well, at least he died!” One by one the thrilled employees got closer to the coffin, and when they looked inside it they suddenly became speechless. They stood near the coffin, shocked and in silence, as if someone had touched the deepest part of their soul. There was a mirror inside the coffin, everyone who looked inside it could see himself. There was also a sign next to the mirror that said: "There is only one person who is capable to set limits to your growth:it is YOU. You are the only person who can revolutionize your life. You are theonly person who can influence your happiness, your realization and your success.

You are the only person who can help yourself. Your life does not change when your boss changes, when your friend’s change, when your parents change, when your partner changes, when your company changes. Your life changes when YOU change, when you go beyond your limiting beliefs, when you realize that you are the only one responsible for your life. "The most important relationship you can have, is the one you have with yourself"
The world and your reality are like mirrors lying in a coffin, whichshow to any individual the death of his divine capability to imagineand create his happiness and his success.

Be blessed.

Patience is a virtue

Compliments of the season to you.Welcome back from the festivities, the holiday and what have you.I think the story below is a good way to start the new year, patience is a virtue we should all learn as a little patience can drastically reduce major life long errors. Often we misjudged people and tear them to shreds with harsh words and even with physical assault before we have had time to evaluate the situation? Read and be blessed because there is a lot to learn from this story.

There is the story of a woman who had a faithful dog. This dog was so faithful that the woman could leave her baby with it and go out to attend other matters. She always returned to find the child soundly asleep with the dog faithfully watching over him.

One day something tragic happened. The woman as usual, left the baby in the “hands” of this faithful dog and went out shopping. When she returned, she discovered rather a nasty scene. There was a total mess. The baby’s cot was dismantled and his nappies and clothes torn to shreds with bloodstains all over the bedroom where she had left the child and the dog. Shocked, the woman wailed as she began looking for the baby. Presently, she saw the faithful dog emerging from under the bed. It was covered with blood and licking its mouth as it had just finished a delicious meal.

The woman went berserk and assumed that the dog had devoured her baby. Without much thought she clubbed the dog to death. But as she continued searching for the “remains” of her child, she beheld another scene. Close to the bed was the baby who, although lying on bare floor, was safe. And under the bed the carcass of a jackal torn to pieces in what must have been a fierce battle between it and the dog which was now dead. Then the reality hit the woman who now began to understand what took place in her absence. The dog fought to protect the baby from the ravenous jackal. It was too late for her now to make amends because in her impatience and anger, she had killed the faithful dog.
What do you think of being patient now?

Don't be in a hurry.

Patience is one of those areas in which most of us are, to say it nicely, under construction. We don't like to wait. Our lives are busy, they’re full, and we hate delays. Many times the delay is actually part of the plan to protect us from something that could hurt us if we stayed "on schedule"; on our schedule, that is. You can see God's protective delays at work when the Jews were miraculously delivered from slavery to Pharaoh in Egypt, and they're ready to be on the interstate to the Promised Land.
Here's what happened and why. "When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, 'If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.' So God led the people around the desert road toward the Red Sea." So, God purposely slows down his people, and then that longer road leads to what appears to be a disaster. They’re trapped at the Red Sea with the Egyptian Army bearing down on them.
Now it may be that God is taking you the longer, slower way right now. You were, like those people on the interstate that was suddenly closed, speeding full speed ahead. Suddenly, all you can see is an ocean of red brake lights in front of you. You're waiting, and you don't know why. It's because God knows what's up ahead and you don't. And He's protecting you from a battle up there that you're not ready to fight, from danger that might hurt you, from a temptation or a test for which you’re just not yet strong enough. Remember, He's promised not to let you face more than He knows you can bear. Maybe you have prayed these words many times, “Lord, 'Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” And the reason you're waiting or taking what seems to be a detour is because your Father, who art in heaven, is answering that prayer! And if the delay and the detour bring you to a Red Sea, not to worry! He's leading you, not into a mess, but into a miracle you'll never forget! So learn to relax when God closes the road or suddenly slows you down. It's all about His love for you, a love that knows what's best for you, a love that knows what's going to happen if you keep going the same direction at the same speed.
So don't sit there, pounding the steering wheel and fuming. You aren't late. In fact, you're right on time - God's time. And this isn't Plan B. This is what God's Plan A has been all the time. So trust the One who plans the trip and who protects those who belong to Him. If you could see what's up ahead, you'd be so grateful that God has made you wait.

Someone sent me the Wooden Bowl!

Got this great piece from friend, it’s worth reading; please ensure you read to the end.A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and four-year old grandson. The old man's hands trembled, his eyesight was blurred, and his step faltered. The family ate together at the table. But the elderly grandfather's shaky hands and failing sight made eating difficult. Peas rolled off his spoon onto the floor. When he grasped the glass, milk spilled on the tablecloth. The son and daughter-in-law became irritated with the mess. "We must do something about father," said the son. "I've had enough of his spilled milk, noisy eating, and food on the floor." So the husband and wife set a small table in the corner. There, Grandfather ate alone while the rest of the family enjoyed dinner. Since Grandfather had broken a dish or two, his food was served in a wooden bowl! When the family glanced in Grandfather's direction, sometime he had a tear in his eye as he sat alone. Still, the only words the couple had for him were sharp admonitions when he dropped a fork or spilled food.

The four-year-old watched it all in silence.

One evening before supper, the father noticed his son playing with wood scraps on the floor. He asked the child sweetly, "What are you making?"Just as sweetly, the boy responded, "Oh, I am making a little bowl for you and Mama to eat your food in when I grow up." The four-year-old smiled and went back to work.

The words so struck the parents so that they were speechless. Then tears started to stream down their cheeks. Though no word was spoken, both knew what must be done. That evening the husband took Grandfather's hand and gently led him back to the family table. For the remainder of his days he ate every meal with the family. And for some reason, neither husband nor wife seemed to care any longer when a fork was dropped, milk spilled, or the tablecloth soiled.
On a positive note, I've learned that, no matter what happens, how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles four things:

A rainy day,

The elderly,

Lost luggage, and

Tangled Christmas tree lights.

I've learned that, regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're gone from your life. I've learned that making a "living" is not the same thing as making a "life".I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance. I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands. You need to be able to throw something back. I've learned that if you pursue happiness, it will elude you. But if you focus on your family, your friends, the needs of others, your work and doing the very best you can, happiness will find you. I've learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision.I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that every day, you should reach out and touch someone. People love that human touch -- holding hands, a warm hug, or just afriendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.!

Shalom.

Alphabets of one's life.

Got this piece from a long time friend who I have even lost contact with. This man was once a very good friend with whom I share thoughts, aspirations and dreams. A levelheaded person, the friendship dwindled when he had to move away with his wife and children to seek greener pasture elsewhere. I missed them a lot especially the little son David. I felt touched when all of a sudden I received this from him, I guess he is trying to tell me something, which I already know, I have been too neglecting.

Hey friend, if you are reading this, please forgive my omission, after going through this mail, I promise to be a true friend in words and deed.

Enjoy this piece;

Desire

Desire is a longing or craving, as for something that brings satisfaction or enjoyment. It is that unquenchable thirst to have something, to do something or become something or someone. Desire is the starting point of success; it is an essential key to success, desire is the genesis of all achievement. When you want something so badly that the urge to possess it overcomes all other reason, then that desire will erase all thoughts of failure, doubts and uncertainty from your mind.
What do you desire? Success, financial breakthrough, good health, healing, good job, freedom from oppression, children, marriage, love? Your desire for any of these must be so great for you to have them, because no substitute or stand-in can take the place of desire. It is either you want it or you don’t. You must know what you want, and then you must want what you want with a passion so intense and so strong that failure or defeat remains an unavailable option. When you know this and practice it, then the sky is the limit for what you can achieve with the power of desire behind you.
I once read somewhere that no amount of adversity can hold back a success-conscious individual, the same, as one cannot prop up a failure-conscious individual. You win or lose because you commit to one or the other.

You decide!

The Modern wife.

It is a myth that when a son gets married and a new daughter-in-law arrives in the family, everything changes. Some daughters-in-law are well trained and well mannered....They don't come to change the family, they are here to..............................................(READ ON!)
The new wife was being welcomed at the husband's home in a traditional manner. As expected she gave a speech thus;
New wife: My dear family, I thank you for welcoming me in my new home and family, firstly, my being here does not mean that I would want to change your way of life, your routine .No, I will never do that, never in a million years.
Mother-in-law: What do you mean my dear?
New wife: What I mean dad is (looking at her in-laws);
Those who used to wash the dishes must carry on washing them.
Those who used to do the laundry must carry on doing it.
Those who cooked should not stop at my account, AND
Those who used to clean should continue cleaning!!!
Mother-in-law: And what are you here for?
New wife: AS FOR ME, I'M HERE JUST TO ENTERTAIN YOUR SON!!!!!
Bravo!

I refused to be discouraged.

Sometimes when people see how fervent, diligent and committed you are to a cause, they tend to want to put stumbling blocks in your way. It is then left for you as a person with an excellent spirit to see beyond the discouragement. If such obstacles are thrown your way, it could also enlighten you, give you a better understanding of your believe. Wallowing in self-pity cannot make the situation better. See beyond the set back, pick up your life and live it to the fullest. Here is a story to encourage you.
A young boy was sitting on a park bench with one hand resting on an open Bible and loudly exclaiming his praise to God. "Hallelujah! Hallelujah! God is great!" he yelled without worrying whether anyone heard him or not. Shortly after, along came a man who had recently completed some studies at a local university. Feeling himself very enlightened in the ways of truth and very eager to show this enlightenment, he asked the boy about the source of his joy. "Hey" asked the boy in return with a bright laugh, "Don't you have any idea what God is able to do? I just read that God opened up the waves of the Red Sea and led the whole nation of Israel right through the middle."
The enlightened man laughed lightly, sat down next to the boy and began to try to open his eyes to the "realities" of the miracles of the Bible. "That can all be very easily explained. Modern scholarship has shown that the Red Sea in that area was only 10-inches deep at that time. It was no problem for the Israelites to wade across."
The boy was shocked. His eyes wandered from the man back to the Bible opened on his lap. The man, content that he had enlightened the poor, naive boy to the finer points of scientific insight, turned to go. Scarcely had he taken two steps when the boy began to rejoice and praise louder than before.
The man turned to ask the reason for this resumed jubilation.
“ Wow!” exclaimed the boy happily, "God is greater than I even thought! Not only did He lead the whole nation of Israel through the Red Sea, He topped it off by drowning the whole Egyptian army in 10-inches of water!"

ooh ho, he could not have been more fervent.

Ever been chased by a real Bad Dude?

An old fellow had been in the north woods for weeks by himself, camping out. Each night at dusk he built a campfire, boiled water for coffee, and took out his skillet to fry up some bacon for dinner. As he was sitting by the fire one night, the water boiling and the bacon sizzling, he heard a tremendous racket in the brush. The sound was like a roaring freight train, and as trees fell over and branches snapped, the biggest bear he’d ever seen lumbered into the clearing. On the bear’s back was a tough-looking hombre holding a seven-foot live rattlesnake in his hands.
The man shouted and screamed as he brought the bear to a skidding halt, bit the head off the rattlesnake, and flung it into the brush. Then he slid off the bear’s back, turned, and hit him between the eyes, knocking him unconscious. The camper was speechless as this wild-eyed renegade walked over to the fire, tossed the boiling coffee down his throat, drank the hot grease from the skillet, and ate all of the bacon in one bite. As he wiped his hands with poison ivy and slapped the bear back to consciousness, he turned to the camper and said, “Partner, I’m sorry I can’t stay around and visit with you a while, but I have got to keep moving ‘cause a real bad dude is chasing me!”

The Fight Against Child Abuse: A Tribute To The Late Nurin Jazlin (1999 to 2007)

This post is from NAFASG
In our times of darkness, children are the ones who will brighten us up. No matter what ordeals we have to endure in our daily lives, we know that we can overcome them the moment we set eyes on children. Their innocence and purity in them will always give us a sense of peacefulness and calm that is beyond words. And it goes without saying that life would be meaningless without seeing them smile, hearing them laugh and cry, and feeling their small and flawlessly gentle hands that want to reach out to us.Yet, there are some who show no empathy and sensitivity towards these beautiful souls. Worse still, they would dunk themselves into physical violence and cruelty towards the children without even thinking twice. Such acts can deem someone to be worse than an animal, because even an animal has compassion and love for its young.
What is going on with this world? Why must such horrid acts be carried out? Why do these people ever exist in this world?

Please take this time to read this special message from us, and show your utmost support and sympathy towards the family of the late Nurin Jazlin, who passed away tragically and brutally at the age of only eight. Little Nurin Jazlin’s body was discovered in a gym bag on 17th September, one month after she was abducted. Upon the discovery, she was seen to be in the most horrifying state ever. Her hair was short and curled up, when it was originally straight and long. Her body was pale and badly bruised from head to toe, and there were traces of foreign objects like brinjal and cucumber found in the virginal area of her body.

Parents of the deceased took a long time to acknowledge her death, but eventually did after all the thorough DNA tests had been carried out by the forensics department. Her body was finally buried on 21st September. Her father, Jazimin Abdul Jalil, had expressed his sorrow towards this tragedy, stating that whoever who caused her death was not a human being, but rather, an animal.

This was the result of an outrage of modesty (See Picture On The Right) caused by a man of age between 35 and 40, who was thought to be someone who enjoyed torturing people, particularly children. Along with him was a 23-year-old lady, who was apparently his partner in crime. The lady had been found and called for questioning by the Malaysian authorities, whereas the man has yet to be found. Hence, we are urging all of you here to play your part in finding this serial killer cum sexual offender and ensuring that justice is served to the deceased and her family.

If you know of the culprits’ whereabouts, keep us informed immediately, or directly inform her uncle, Jasni Abdul Jalil, via his blog, which he had specially created as a form of dedication to her.

Over the years, we have heard of children’s lives being taken away due to the evil doings of heartless adults. Do you still wish to hear such saddening news of child abuse? Then let us do our part right away! Together we can make this world a better place for the little ones. Let us all join hand in hand and put a stop to such cruelty towards them once and for all! Don't wait till tomorrow,Do it now!

Got this interesting article from a friend. Have a nice read.

Everyone knows that life is already unmercifully short; here today, gone tomorrow is a fact of life sooner or later, it is a reality that each of us must face.

How and where we spend our time should be a matter of serious urgency because tomorrow is a day that never comes. And there is no guarantee that you will live to see another tomorrow.

Tomorrow is a day that all of us should live in and enjoy this very moment. We should strive to enjoy this day. And this day should be considered the greatest day of your life. You were taught, early on, not to put off until tomorrow what can and should be done today.

This means dreams must be lived in the now; truth must be told today, love, sharing, caring and serving must be done today. Unattended obligations must be completed today and forgiveness must begin this very moment. Both justice and friendship must be implemented and maintained right now, not tomorrow or next month.
It is foolish and very unwise to wait for the right moment or the right opportunity before you take action to embrace the totality of life. Consider every moment to be the right moment and also the right opportunity. Time is the one constant in all life; it never slows or speeds up but is continuous and unrelenting.

Presidents, potentates, kings and queens, and all manner of high-ranking movers and shakers may die, come and go, but time is no respecter of person, title or position. All of us have equal access to the same amount of time. Rich people have no more or less time than people who are not rich. Somehow, they seem to make better use of their time.

For sure, they are both times conscious as well as value-conscious. You dont get rich or achieve outstanding success by misusing time. Most successful people do things that add to, not take away from their success. They value their time, and also the time of other time-conscious individuals.

With time being a decisive factor in all life, there is no room for plea-bargaining; all excuses, reasonable or unreasonable, are unacceptable. With or without you, time marches on, which is why you must get busy maximizing every available moment. A do-it-now attitude must be reflected in your spirit, in your actions as well as in your deeds. A can't wait; do-it-now mentality must become the new order of the day.

It’s good to have friends.

Since my return I’ve been bombarded with all sorts of mail, some of which are extremely funny and some just too hilarious for words. I guess my friend who’s been sending me jokes after jokes just want me to forget the gloom of the past weeks. Thanks for this friend, I had quite a laugh.
Hope you all enjoy it also.

Home For The Holidays!
An elderly man in Phoenix calls his son in New York and says,
"I hate to ruin your day, but I have to tell you that your mother and I are divorcing; forty-five years of misery is enough."

"Pop, what are you talking about?" the son screams.

"We can't stand the sight of each other any longer," the old man says.
"We're sick of each other, and I'm sick of talking about this,
so you call your sister in Chicago and tell her," and he hangs up.

Frantic, the son calls his sister, who explodes on the phone.
"Like hell they're getting divorced," she shouts, "I'll take
care of this." She calls Phoenix immediately, and screams at
the old man, "You are NOT getting divorced. Don't do a single
thing until I get there. I'm calling my brother back,
and we'll both be there tomorrow. Until then, don't do a
thing, DO YOU HEAR ME?" and hangs up.

The old man hangs up his phone, too, and turns to his wife.
"Okay," he says, "they're coming for Thanksgiving. Now what
do we tell them for Christmas?"

Last Confession
Jake was on his deathbed. His wife, Susan, was maintaining a vigil by
his side. As she held his fragile hand, tears ran down her face. Her praying
roused him from his slumber. He looked up and his pale lips began to move
slightly.
"My darling Susan," he whispered. "Hush, my love," she said.

"Rest. Shhh. Don't talk." He was insistent.

"Susan," he said in his tired voice. "I have something I must confess to you."

"There's nothing to confess," replied the weeping Susan. "Everything's all right, go to sleep."

"No, no. I must die in peace, Susan. I slept with your sister, your best friend, and your mother."

"I know," she replied. "That's why I poisoned you."

Let's have some laughter.

Can’t help but try to lighten the mood of this blog a bit. Everyone needs a good laugh once in a while.

Here’s the story of three men who died and went to heaven. At heavens orientation ceremony, each of them were asked,
When you were in your casket and friends and family were mourning you, what would you have loved to hear them say about you?
The first man said, "I would have loved to hear them say that I was a great doctor of my time, and a great family man."
The second guy says, "I would have loved to hear that I was a wonderful husband and school teacher which made a huge difference in our children of tomorrow."
The last guy replies, " would have loved to hear them say... LOOK, HE'S MOVING!!!!!"

A young vicar, who was so nervous at his first mass that he could hardly speak, asked a senior vicar’s advice on how he could relax. The senior vicar told him: "Next week it may help if you put some Vodka in the water pitcher. After a few sips everything should go smoothly." The following Sunday the new vicar put the suggestion into practice and was able to talk up a storm and did just great. Upon returning to the rectory, he found the following message on a note from the senior vicar:

  • Next time, sip rather than gulp.
  • There are 10 commandments, not 12.
  • There are 12 disciples not 10.
  • David slew Goliath; he did not kick his ass.
  • WE do not refer to our savior Jesus Christ and his apostles as "J.C. and the boys."
  • Next week there is a taffy-pulling contest at St. Peters, not a peter pulling contest at St. Taffy's.
  • We do not refer to the cross as the "The Big T."
  • The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are not referred to as "Big Daddy, Junior, and the Spook."
  • The recommended Grace before meals is not "Rub-A-Dub, thanks for the grub, Yo God!"
  • Jesus was consecrated, not constipated.
  • Jacob wagered his donkey, he did not bet his ass.
  • When David was hit by a rock and knocked off his donkey, don't say he was stoned off his ass.
  • When Jesus broke the bread at the Last Supper he said, "Take this and eat it, for it is my body", he did not say, "Eat me."

Hope you got a good laugh!
